Am listening on a Amazon tablet. Do not hear much stick definition. Jazzy like a drippy faucet. Now if you want a really questionable cymbal my Soul tone 26 inch jazz series thin ride. Has a really or basically no bell sound. And too big for stick definition but it is a thin ride.

DW Collector series drums are great sounding drums and are worth every penny IF you can afford them. If not there are other well made and more affordable options.

I've never heard a mahogany/gum before. Very unique and you know if it's a DW kit, it is well made. The Cherry/Gum also sounded great but not as punchy as their Cherry/Spruce. Nice video and good playing.

Use one gel on the snare, but tape it down with masking tape.

Awesome video, I love DW, the hardest part with them is choosing what shells to go with. I have a maple ssc kit in natural wood, and a pure birch kit satin oil. I am planning my next dw kit to be maple standard shells with no re-rings with a vlx+ kick drum. DW drums kill it
